About the Authors

R. Gopalakrishnan is a distinguished author, speaker, and corporate advisor with over 50 years of managerial experience. He began his career in 1967 at Hindustan Lever and later served as vice chairman of Hindustan Unilever. He also held a 19-year tenure at Tata Sons as a director. Currently, he serves as the non-executive chairman of Castrol India and is an independent director on several boards. Gopalakrishnan is also an Executive-in-Residence at S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai, and a Distinguished Professor at IIT Kharagpur. He has authored nine books, including A Comma in a Sentence, Six Lenses, and Doodles on Leadership.

Tulsi Jayakumar is a Professor of Economics and the Chairperson of the Family Managed Business program at S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. An alumnus of the Delhi School of Economics, she has published globally acclaimed case studies in international academic journals. Jayakumar has also contributed insightful articles to national business publications and magazines, focusing on entrepreneurship and family business dynamics.
